SAMBUTAN Hari Malaysia ke-49 yang berlangsung di tapak Lapangan Terbang Bintulu Lama, Bintulu, Sarawak malam tadi berlangsung penuh gilang-gemilang dengan dibanjiri lebih 25,000 pengunjung meskipun dalam keadaan cuaca hujan renyai-renyai.

Pada majlis itu, tetamu dihiburkan dengan pelbagai persembahan kebudayaan berunsurkan patriotik melibatkan hampir 600 peserta.

Turut hadir memeriahkan majlis ialah Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Ketua Menteri Sarawak, Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud dan Ketua Menteri Sabah, Datuk Seri Musa Aman.

Malaysia wins Asean Suzuki Cup

JAKARTA: Malaysia won its first Asean Suzuki Cup today by beating Indonesia with an aggregate score of 4-2 for the first and second legs of the Southeast Asian championships final.

In the final's second leg, held in Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Indonesia beat Malaysia 2-1 in a match attended by Indonesia's President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

However, the score was not enough to overcome Indonesia's 3-0 defeat to Malaysia in the first leg at the National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur last Wednesday.

Malaysia's Mohammad Safee Mohammad Sali, the top scorer during the 2010 championships Asean Suzuki Cup, formerly known as the Tiger Cup, scored the first goal in the 53rd minute.

Indonesia levelled the score in the 71st minute with a goal by Mohammad Nasuha and Mohammad Ridwan took the home country into the lead with a second goal in the 87th minute.

Losing the Asean Suzuki Cup tournament was a bitter pill for Indonesia to swallow after beating Malaysia 5-1 in a qualification match earlier this month.

Last week's first leg was marred by incidents in which fans aimed laser beams at Indonesian players during the game

Punca dikatakan kerana sesak nafas.

Nik Aziz dikatakan dibawa menggunakan ambulan malam tadi.

Setakat ini tidak banyak maklumat yang diperoleh namun keadaan beliau dikatakan tenat dan beliau ditempat di wad rawatan rapi Hospital

Sakit beliau ini dikatakan ada berhubung kait dengan sakit dialami ketika mengerjakan haji tahun ini. Beliau dikatakan gagal menyempurnakan ibadah berkenaan dan terpaksa membayar Dam (denda).

Nampaknya sakit mengikut beliau sehingga ke negara ini...

Walaupun mungkin berlainan haluan politik, mari bersamalah kita mendoakan kesejahteraan beliau.
